What to do when replacing a vehicle

When you are replacing a vehicle in your fleet, it is important to keep old data filed away and start the new vehicle with a clean history. Now you can save this data and move the transponder to the replacement vehicle with our new 'Archive' feature. Here is how it works:

  1. Remove the transponder and cable from the vehicle to be replaced
  2. Click on the vehicle you want to replace on the 'Settings' page
  3. Then click 'Archive' and add any comments: Sold vehicle at auction
  4. Now assign the transponder to the replacement vehicle by clicking on its serial number
    OR: If the old vehicle will not be replaced, contact Support to remove it from your account

All the data from your old vehicle will still be available on the 'History' and 'Compliance' pages, along with the date and comments when it was archived.

*Note that archiving transponders does not effect billing status.
