Highway department uses CarmaLink fleet management to save fuel

The Highway Department for the Town of Bethlehem, NY chose CarmaLink to monitor their fleet of 56 trucks after a pilot showed an initial fuel savings of 12%. The highway department is responsible for maintaining town roads, cleanup of leaves for the town's composting program as well as snow removal in the winter.

Fleet maintenance foreman Tim Seward enjoys automated vehicle health reports delivered to his inbox whenever there is a trouble code on one of his trucks.

This a fabulous feature. It actually gives more information than our scan tool, due to the fact Cummins software is so expensive and proprietary.
